Gilbert

Gilbert is male around 2.5 months old.
His mamma (a Border Collie mix) was hit by a car leaving he and his siblings orphaned at 2 weeks old. Once brought into the care of Lost Boys Hope, he and his siblings were bottle fed and nurtured with love and care until old enough to find their forever families.
We do not know how big he will get. He currently weighs around 16lbs. His mamma weighed around 35-40lbs.

*A small part of the adoption fee pays for Spay/neuter surgery at our vet. Most of the cost to spay/neuter is funded through fundraising.
- If you chose to use your Vet for spay/neuter, the surgery portion of your adoption fee will go towards the rescues efforts in saving another animal.

😃🐶 Gilbert has the love & personality of an old soul, he is a very cuddly boy & will take all the affection he can possibly get.
He loves a good romp around the yard with his fur brothers, once he’s had enough of the shenanigans he will lay at your feet chewing a good ole stick!
Gilbert has a real love for the little humans, he would love children of his own to follow around, snuggle & give a sweet kiss to. Gilbert is doing great with house training, though he still a pup and has the odd accident, he is catching on quickly!
He has learned sit & come already, he is a very smart boy who loves learning new things. Gilbert is making progress with crate training, he gets a little upset that the snuggling is over, but once he settles he sleeps soundly through the night. Gilbert is great with other dogs, kids & cats.
