Charlie is a neutered male around 4 years old. He is a Chinese crest shihtzu mix.
He weighs around 15lbs.

🐶Charlie is the sweetest little guy who loves to give kisses, receive belly rubs and just wants to be close to you. He is the perfect lap dog.

He is great around other dogs (mainly ignores them) and seems fine with cats as well. He currently lives with 2 other dogs.

Charlie is not very 'yappy' but does bark if he hears something concerning outside or a new person enters the house. However, he settles quickly once reassured.

Charlie does not love being in his crate. He would much rather have you nearby in cuddling distance. That being said, he will sleep quietly all night when crated. He can also be left in the crate for a few hours during the day with no issues as he is fully housetrained. However, when you return home he will be very vocal at reminding you that he is ready to come out. I also believe Charlie would be fine if left uncrated as he is very well behaved.

Favourite toy: Balls and stuffies which he likes to fetch or tug.
Favorite place to chill: Top of the couch usually behind your head or on your lap.
Favourite treats: Liver and dental sticks

Charlie gets very excited when he sees his harness and he is very good walking on his leash. He is a little nervous and whiny when in the car.

Charlie recently had 8 teeth removed including all 6 top front incisors. He had a full dental cleaning at the same time. The vet is suggesting ongoing oral care (including brushing) to prevent anymore future issues in this area.
He is currently eating wet food currently as he heals but is expected to be able to return to his regular diet in a few weeks.
